Hattie Spice, Set Designer / Artistic Director

In my first year of business, I've had the privilege of assisting Hattie, an immensely talented Art Director and Designer, on a diverse array of events. It continues to astound me that the items I source for Hattie's imaginative concepts cater to prestigious clientele such as Omega, Latitude Festival's Mind, Body & Zen area, Edinburgh Festival's House of Oz, the Boodles Charity Boxing Gala, Goodwood Revival & corporate organisations, among others.

From the exhilarating world of circus to the timeless allure of vintage, from extravagant spectacles to serene Zen retreats, each project presents a unique adventure. As her freelance administrator, I embrace the unpredictable nature of the work, and every day brings something new and exciting. Regular tasks encompass a wide range of activities, including:

  • Sourcing and buying props, accessories and materials

  • Reconciling receipts in Xero

  • Research for rentals

  • Crew logistics & accreditation

  • Running errands

  • Returning hired props

  • Selling on ebay

  • Supporting at event installations putting together purchased furniture and accessories, setting table pieces, general event decoration tasks
