Behind every successful project or event in the creative and entertainment industry is a team of dedicated professionals who ensure everything runs seamlessly. As a freelance admin working in these fields, during my first year I've had the privilege of contributing to the success of numerous ventures. Discover the projects and events that have benefited from my administrative support in my portfolio.

Hattie Spice, Set Designer / Artistic Director

Since the very start of my business, I've had the privilege of assisting Hattie, an immensely talented Art Director and Designer, on a diverse array of events. It continues to astound me that the items I source for Hattie's imaginative concepts cater to prestigious clientele such as Omega, Latitude Festival's Mind, Body & Zen area, Edinburgh Festival's House of Oz, the Boodles Charity Boxing Gala, Goodwood Revival, Afri Co.Lab 'The Hero's Journey'  & corporate organisations, among others.

From the exhilarating world of circus to the timeless allure of vintage, from extravagant spectacles to serene Zen retreats, each project presents a unique adventure. As her freelance administrator, I embrace the unpredictable nature of the work, and every day brings something new and exciting. Regular tasks encompass a wide range of activities, including:

  • Sourcing and buying props, accessories and materials

  • Reconciling receipts in Xero

  • Research for rentals

  • Crew logistics & accreditation

  • Running errands

  • Returning hired props

Westend Dance Workshop, Melissa Hunte

Dancer, teacher & choreographer, Melissa Hunte, arranged some children's Westend Dance workshops at The Stables Theatre, Hastings. As Melissa is from London, she required some very basic social media support to help her advertise the workshop in the local area. I put together the following:

  • Created social media posts from flyers and material provided

  • Shared to local Facebook groups

  • Promotional email to local dance schools & theatre groups

Atman Sound Journeys

Suzanne had been procrastinating for a few years about offering her range of healing modalities as a sound practitioner and wellness coach. She had successfully built up her 1:1 sessions but the thought of having to set up the tools needed to launch her events and business just filled her with dread and she had developed a mental block! After seeing my April Special Offer posts, Suzanne bit the bullet and got in touch. Within 3 weeks I had the basic structure set up and two events set up! Suzanne no longer had a mental block and with my input and guidance, was encouraged further along to successfully achieve her goal.  I did this by:-

  • Setting up Eventbrite account

  • Setting up Eventbrite for two events

  • Setting up Facebook & Instagram accounts

  • Producing QR codes for events

  • Advising and supporting Suzanne around setting up a Whats App group for attendees to join

  • Mentoring to help Suzanne learn the basics so she can maintain her own Eventbrite in the future
